This film has been one of the biggest and most meaningful projects I’ve worked on. If you’ve been here from the start, you might know that although I was born and raised in Austria, I am South African at heart. Afrikaans is my mother tongue, and my culture is deeply rooted in a love for wildlife, the outdoors, and simple traditions — like sitting around a braai with good food and good people. Every now and then, I travel back to Southern Africa to visit family. This time, we took it a step further. Together, we set off on a two-week overlanding journey through Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe to explore the incredible Okavango Delta — a vast inland system of rivers that never reaches the ocean, but instead fades into the land, creating one of the richest wildlife regions on Earth. And we did it the South African way: in a bakkie, with a rooftop tent. What followed was an unforgettable adventure. From the thunder of Victoria Falls on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, to quiet mornings in the bush… from heart-racing encounters with predators, to peaceful evenings around the fire… and moments that truly put into perspective just how powerful and beautiful nature can be. This film is my personal story of Southern Africa — its wildlife, its landscapes, and the feeling of being completely immersed in the bush. Had a blast at the Slovakiaring circuit for my first big motorsport event! 🏎️
This video’s a little different from my usual Mini Cooper S adventures in the Austrian Alps — this time, I swapped winding mountain roads for a real race circuit. My first-ever motorsport weekend took me to the Slovakia Ring, where I joined ABF Racing for the Suzuki Swift Cup Europe 2025! In this video, I take you along as I learn how a race weekend actually works — from qualifying sessions and grid preparation, to formation laps, the role of the safety car, and what happens between races. (By the way, I may have found my dream job — the safety car driver. Always at the front, always number one!) You’ll see behind the scenes of the paddock, the race grid build-up, and plenty of wheel-to-wheel Swift Cup racing. I even hopped on my e-scooter for a lap of the track during the open track walk — because who could resist? Along the way, I also caught some Formula 4 and GT Endurance action, which made the whole weekend even more exciting. It was a mix of adrenaline, teamwork, and a whole lot of tyre squeal — and I can honestly say, I’m hooked. Had an amazing time driving with friends through the Austrian Alps to the breathtaking "Großer Ahornboden"! This place is truly something special — a national park renowned for its beautiful maple tree forest surrounded by towering mountains. We took my Mini Cooper S and a BMW 430d on this scenic POV drive, and the route couldn’t have been better. Mini Cooper S POV Drive | RAW Sound
Racing stripes and the MINI – a match made in automotive history. They’ve always been an iconic look on a MINI, and I’ve long felt that mine was missing them. Now, to finally complete the black and light blue theme of my Cooper S, I’ve added a set of bold light blue racing stripes. In this video, I take you through the full process: prepping the paint, using knifeless tape for clean vinyl edges, and aligning the stripes with a laser to get them perfectly centred. The result is a near factory-level finish that transforms the look of the car. To celebrate the new look, I headed out for a drive to the Grossglockner – the perfect backdrop for some final photos and cinematic shots of the MINI with its new stripes. DIY Racing Stripes for the MINI Cooper S!
Over time, every car has parts that wear out or break — and my Mini Cooper S is no exception. Instead of simply replacing them with the same stock parts, I prefer upgrading to something stronger, more durable, or a bit nicer to look at. This time I tackled four things that had been bothering me for a while, and it reminded me that small changes really can make a big difference. I started with the replacement of the brittle stock turbo hose with a much tougher silicone turbo hose upgrade. Next, my loose grill trim surrounds with broken clips got swapped for sleek gloss black surrounds from KillAllChrome. And I have great news! Next, I found that the original yellow daytime bulbs never suited the Mini, so I upgraded them to crisp Osram W5W intense blue lights for a cleaner, brighter shine. After what felt like forever stuck in rainy weather here in the Austrian Alps, the sun finally came out — and you know what that means! Naturally, my dad and I took the opportunity and went for a short motorcycle ride in the mountains! Bike Ride With My Dad In The Austrian Mountains!
Boy, was this a long time coming! It only took me two years to finally make good on my promise— in this video, I am upgrading the wheels of my Mini Cooper S R56 to a set that perfectly complements my KW V2 "Inox" Line suspension. But the wait was worth it. After an extensive search and a long drive to pick them up, I finally have them: the OZ Racing Formula HLT 17" wheels in Grigio Corsa! These have been my dream wheels since the day I got my Mini and are a replacement for my previous summer wheels Dotz Rapier in black. The exact specs: 7.5Jx17, 4x100 bolt pattern, ET35 offset—ideal for my setup. And wow, do they deliver! Not only are they ultra-lightweight at just 8 kg per rim, but they also look absolutely stunning. To match the performance and aesthetics of the OZ Formula HLT wheels, I paired them with Toyo Proxes TR1 tyres, size 215/40R17 87W. Together, this combination delivers the grip and handling I need for those tight, twisty mountain roads. Let's replace the wheels and see whether they fit on my Mini Cooper S!
