A highly important metric for sporty driving is oil temperature. All the more annoying that the Mini doesn't feature an oil temperature gauge. I took matters into my own hands after I had oil issues in the past that almost cost me my engine. The solution for me was the Prosport 2in1 temperature and turbocharger boost pressure gauge.
