Had a blast at the Slovakiaring circuit for my first big motorsport event! 🏎️
This video’s a little different from my usual Mini Cooper S adventures in the Austrian Alps — this time, I swapped winding mountain roads for a real race circuit. My first-ever motorsport weekend took me to the Slovakia Ring, where I joined ABF Racing for the Suzuki Swift Cup Europe 2025! In this video, I take you along as I learn how a race weekend actually works — from qualifying sessions and grid preparation, to formation laps, the role of the safety car, and what happens between races. (By the way, I may have found my dream job — the safety car driver. Always at the front, always number one!) You’ll see behind the scenes of the paddock, the race grid build-up, and plenty of wheel-to-wheel Swift Cup racing. I even hopped on my e-scooter for a lap of the track during the open track walk — because who could resist? Along the way, I also caught some Formula 4 and GT Endurance action, which made the whole weekend even more exciting. It was a mix of adrenaline, teamwork, and a whole lot of tyre squeal — and I can honestly say, I’m hooked. Mini Cooper S POV Drive | RAW Sound
Racing stripes and the MINI – a match made in automotive history. They’ve always been an iconic look on a MINI, and I’ve long felt that mine was missing them. Now, to finally complete the black and light blue theme of my Cooper S, I’ve added a set of bold light blue racing stripes. In this video, I take you through the full process: prepping the paint, using knifeless tape for clean vinyl edges, and aligning the stripes with a laser to get them perfectly centred. The result is a near factory-level finish that transforms the look of the car. To celebrate the new look, I headed out for a drive to the Grossglockner – the perfect backdrop for some final photos and cinematic shots of the MINI with its new stripes. DIY Racing Stripes for the MINI Cooper S
Over time, every car has parts that wear out or break — and my Mini Cooper S is no exception. Instead of simply replacing them with the same stock parts, I prefer upgrading to something stronger, more durable, or a bit nicer to look at. This time I tackled four things that had been bothering me for a while, and it reminded me that small changes really can make a big difference. I started with the replacement of the brittle stock turbo hose with a much tougher silicone turbo hose upgrade. Next, my loose grill trim surrounds with broken clips got swapped for sleek gloss black surrounds from KillAllChrome. And I have great news! Bike Ride With My Dad In The Austrian Mountains!
Boy, was this a long time coming! It only took me two years to finally make good on my promise— in this video, I am upgrading the wheels of my Mini Cooper S R56 to a set that perfectly complements my KW V2 "Inox" Line suspension. But the wait was worth it. After an extensive search and a long drive to pick them up, I finally have them: the OZ Racing Formula HLT 17" wheels in Grigio Corsa! These have been my dream wheels since the day I got my Mini and are a replacement for my previous summer wheels Dotz Rapier in black. The exact specs: 7.5Jx17, 4x100 bolt pattern, ET35 offset—ideal for my setup. And wow, do they deliver! Not only are they ultra-lightweight at just 8 kg per rim, but they also look absolutely stunning. To match the performance and aesthetics of the OZ Formula HLT wheels, I paired them with Toyo Proxes TR1 tyres, size 215/40R17 87W.
